Matarik Art

😄Last Term for  Matariki we had made some art that represented our family with Te Maunga. We were learning  to draw kowhaiwhai patterns . We had some parents such as Annalisse ( Kian's Mum ) and that was fun.  We had to use crayon , a little piece of paper and  metallic paint and  that paint is pretty. We had to focus to make the patterns  and lines the same length and size and that was hard. 😄

Waitangi Treaty Grounds

Last week on Tuesday  our whole school got to go for a  walk to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds it was Te Ngahere, Te Maunga and Te Moana. When we got there we got put into groups and all my friends were  my group so that was cool. First we got to do gardening we were lucky to be  to be planting because only the certain staff are allowed to  plant there. Next we went to go play  some cool games the first game we got to play we had to put no  blindfold and I did not like that game so I went to the next game and I like that because  we got to jump around and one of the workers got to say matou,  maui and ki waenganui.  My favorite was making the manu aute and I think that my was cool. I hope we do it again and it was so fun.
